Sounds like they're members of the FIRST CHURCH OF MERCHANDISING.

TIL
drywall compound can go bad. 🤢
If you think about it for two seconds… of course, but I did not, and continued stirring while wondering why it seemed to have slightly changed colour. Then the smell hit me.

Anyhoo, don’t buy much more than you can use, as it lasts only about a few months more after it’s been opened, especially if it isn’t sealed well enough.

I learned if you take bread toasted way too long in an oven - where the slices are desiccated to the point of being hard and brown and crumbly but haven't really been burned - and then reheat it in a microwave, you can start a fire*.

* I didn't actually start a fire in my microwave. But if I'd heated the toast for longer than I did, I probably could have. The slices were suddenly burnt in patches, and the paper plate I had them on was scorched.

Should we be asking why you’re making toast in the oven?

Also, cornbread baking pan, bacon fryer, pork chop, burger, or chicken breast saute pan. deep fryer, and self-defense object.

(Oops ... did not see Veritable's wise post on this topic ......but, this cannot be overemphasized, anyway.)

The original Jumanji starring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst and Bonnie Hunt, was filmed in the towns of Keene and Swanzey, NH, in late 1994 and the Spring of 1995.

Back then, I was in my senior year of high school in Manchester, NH. A "big" Hollywood movie filming in the state would have been a seismic event, but that information never reached me. I guess my own seismic-level happenings didn't provide space unobstructed by debris to make room for external ones. But it's nice other Granite Staters remember it.

I've seen the movie once, not long after it was released. I may have to watch it again to see if I can recognize any locations, despite the new fear of getting Jumanji-ed.
