(More seriously, I don't think the failure to check the spelling is the worst problem with this document. It's a bit like the joke "Maga Supporter: 'Your all going to be sent to camps!' Liberal: 'It's you're, actually'.'")
Uh, the point of pointing it out is the irony. It's an executive order. From the President of the United States. On Super Intelligence.

If we can't mock him, we have little left to go after him with right now.

The sequel will probably be better.

I mean, what are the odds the entire document was just drafted by "Super Intelligence" and no one proofed it at all.

Most people laughed and scrolled on. I did too, for about an hour. Then I remembered who we’re dealing with. With this family, the stupid thing is almost never just the stupid thing. Somewhere behind the curtain, a cash register is usually ringing.

So Trump is trying to make money off the dictionary industry?

Just another day with a "y" in it.

Five weeks before the midterms, with his approval rating scraping the bottom of the pool, a war in Iran grinding into its seventh month and the national debt blowing through $40 trillion, Donald Trump invited TIME into the Oval Office for what his staff clearly hoped would be a nice, friendly reset. What they got instead was an hour of an 80-year-old man inventing election results, inventing TV ratings, inventing approval numbers in a foreign country, renaming artificial intelligence because it reminds him of CNN, threatening to wipe out an entire nation in the name of peace, and finishing the whole thing with a profane, photo-waving meltdown because nobody had asked him about his woodwork. If a Canadian premier gave this interview, the caucus would be changing the locks by lunch. In Washington, it’s a Monday.
If a British PM gave this interview, they'd be out, too.

Returning to typos in proclamations and executive orders and the like, the more I think about it, the more I think they must be deliberate.

I mean, think about whoever is preparing the document for signature -- if you're typing up something to be printed for your boss to sign, particularly when the signing is a public event, surely you're going to have spell check turned on, so obvious misspellings have wiggly red lines underneath them and wiggly grey lines under possible substitution errors (eg "your" for "you're") and you spot them before you print the thing.

Turns out that S.I. is pretty smart.
WHOOPS!!! Accidentally returned real data! Can't have that!

I ALMOST feel bad for the human devs who will constantly have to scramble to force these bots to say some sort of canned lie.

FBI gives employees a classified ‘Patel Report’ about times when it ‘fell short’
The FBI has released a classified report to its workforce examining what it says are chapters from the bureau’s history “where this institution fell short,” according to an internal message obtained Friday by The Associated Press.

It was unclear what episodes from the FBI’s past are chronicled in the new “Patel Report.” But the document’s existence is in keeping with Director Kash Patel’s vocal criticism of the leaders who preceded him and with his determination to rid the FBI of agents he contends have politicized the bureau in the past. Patel’s critics say he is the one who has weaponized the FBI and that his scrutiny of his predecessors and their decision-making is part of an effort to rewrite history in favor of President Donald Trump.
Any bets this "Patel Report" ( ) makes no mention of the time its leadership fell short in regards to its current leader?
