Is it really so real though? The New York Times interviewed staff and patrons at three Waffle House locations in Rome, and found that, on balance, the answer is probably “no”. No one was “aware of anyone traveling to the 24-hour restaurants by paranormal means.”

We know how badly Trump is doing with his foreign policies. How are things going for him domestically, like say his efforts to unseat Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell?

How Trump Is Sabotaging Himself on the Federal Reserve

President Donald Trump is threatening — again — to fire Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, this time in the event that Powell doesn’t step down from the Fed when his term as chair ends on May 15.

Let’s play out how that might unfold.

Imagine Trump did decide to fire Powell: The early phases might go the same way as Trump’s attempt to fire another Fed board member, Lisa Cook. In that case, the Supreme Court has allowed Cook to stay in her role while justices deliberate whether Trump has grounds to remove her “for cause.” The president claims that she committed mortgage fraud, but that underlying allegation has not been litigated.

The ruling in that case could come any day now, but questions from the justices hinted that they would prioritize the Fed’s autonomy. Trump would need an advantageous ruling to make his Powell firing work.

Apparently his remarks

“represent personal, informal, jovial, and somewhat spiritual discussions made in the context of barely surviving cancer”, the spokesperson told CNN.

Well, yes, I can see that, in the sense that while I was undergoing radiotherapy, and for a couple of months afterwards, I spent most of my time high as a kite on prescription morphine and fentanyl. But I had enough sense to stay safely spaced out at home, either in SL or SLU, and certainly wouldn't have tried to drive anywhere.

Trump really is one of a kind. Who else in the entire world goes to a podium to read a prepared speech and stops in the middle to interject like "By the way I literally don't even know what's written on this piece of paper, I'm finding out at the same time as the rest of you."
