Ironically, he blamed CA for their wildfires due to "bad forest management." This is a good example of a cost cutting measure that will be VERY expensive.

Yeah. A third of California is forest land. Not quite 60% of which is FEDERALLY owned/managed. 40% privately held, and a 3% smattering is owned by the actual State of California and counties within it.

So, As All-(@#%king)-ways with those Mendacious Arrogant Grabby Assholes... every Elder God Thrice Damned Accusation of theirs is a slavering Shub-Niggurathian Confession. The hungering void having consumed their hearts and souls already needs to hurry up and finish the job by devouring the remaining noisy husks that are still stumbling around fecking things up.

... or something like that. I'm obviously in a mood.

Apparently the "DoorDash grandma" is this woman:

Trump's Whitehouse is nothing more than a Potemkin village.

Ha ha, I just finished our taxes. We got like a $500 refund. But owed the state $70. Though this was also the first year we didn't claim any dependents.

Some "tax relief".

PS, I do not mind paying taxes and often advocate for it the issue that needs fixed is in how its used, especially how much is pissed away in wars.

There was a study by the fed showing that without tariffs, inflation would have returned to prepandemic levels by now.

If Trump had just put his feet up on his desk and done NOTHING but reap what Biden sowed, he'd have the highest approval ratings of any President in a long time. ...instead he had to demonstrate his brilliance.

Its almost like we are one world, one people, and trade etc is a necesary fact of existence and not some stupid conspiracy where everyone steals all our jobs and turns everyone gay.

Seems like a common Trumpian problem. I remember reading back in his first term that if he had taken his inheritance and just bought shares in the top 100 stocks, and just put his feet up, he would have been much wealthier than he was through his own business efforts. Probably no longer true with the money his corrupt schemes have pulled in since then. But it's always stuck with me that all his plans, his deals, his shady practices, bankruptcies and failures, other companies and people stiffed, he failed to achieve as much as doing nothing would have netted him.

YEP. He also inherited a good economy from Obama in his first term that he went on to break. Now he inherited a fixed economy from Biden again and he's breaking it with even more violent stupidity.

There was a press briefing at the Whitehouse this afternoon covering his A.I. Jesus post.

(But really, it was an attempt to laud his HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENTS benefitting taxpayers, and how the Democrats in Congress are the true antichrists.)
