The US Army is having a joint operation with Ecuadorian military against Narcos submarines/drug labs.
Can anyone get confirmation from Ecuador that this is a joint venture?
It is unclear if U.S. forces are engaged in ground combat alongside their partner forces, as is common in America’s secret wars elsewhere in the world, or simply providing support in intelligence, logistics, and mission planning.
“The operations are a powerful example of the commitment of partners in Latin America and the Caribbean to combat the scourge of narco-terrorism,” U.S. Southern Command said in a spare statement announcing the latest front in President Donald Trump’s globe-spanning wars. A short video accompanying the post on X shows footage of helicopters without context.
Not from Ecuador, but...The military operation came a day after Marine Gen. Francis Donovan, commander of SOUTHCOM, met with Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa in Quito, Ecuador, to discuss “security cooperation” and “reaffirm the United States’ strong commitment to supporting the nation’s efforts to confront narco-terrorism and strengthen regional security.” He teased the possibility the U.S. would “expand” its military ties with the South American nation.
I think Trump just said he's going to install Marco in Cuba.

Trump tells CNN Cuba is soon going to fall: ‘I’m going to put Marco over there’
President Donald Trump told CNN Friday morning that Cuba “is going to fall pretty soon.”www.yahoo.com
The Exiles have always wanted the US to put one of them in charge of Cuba as essentially "Viceroy" and turn Cuba back into "America's Pet Banana Republic" again.
We need to ban foreign payments for political purposes. Or just criminalise working with foreign entities to influence domestic politics
I can’t stop laughing
Mike seems outraged that Trump's White House is so corrupt. That's adorable.
Next week he will turn up shocking evidence that Trump has lied about some things. And hold onto your hat when he finds out there just might be a misogynistic tinge to some of their policies.Mike seems outraged that Trump's White House is so corrupt. That's adorable.
I think it is less being outraged that it is so corrupt as it is frustration that so much awful shit is happening all the time that nothing sticks or gets any traction before the new shit happens. It is by design. Flood the field.Mike seems outraged that Trump's White House is so corrupt. That's adorable.
I'm trying to understand why, if Trump gives them the wrong size, they don't simply buy an identical pair in the right size. He's not going to remember what size he gave them. Or simply swap the shoes amongst themselves.I can't believe I'm posting something about Trump forcing staff to wear the shoes he wears. But here we are.
