Trump brushes off low approval ratings and claims he is popular with "smart people"

I'll be darned! He's actually kind of aware of his problem, even though his eyes are dim and his brain unfocused.

In an unusual move for the president, Trump used a speech to business leaders and officials from Saudi Arabia to admit that his approval ratings have dropped because he's taking heat from his base.

"So my poll numbers just went down, but with smart people they've gone way up," he told assembled officials during a speech at the US-Saudi Investment Forum.

A Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll this week found that Trump's approval rating has fallen to 38%, the lowest point since he returned to office in January.

‘HANG THEM’: Trump Boosts Message Calling For Executing Democrats In Congress

President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested Democratic veterans in Congress should be hanged for releasing a joint video urging U.S. military service members to disobey unlawful orders from on high.

In a series of unhinged posts on his social media site, Truth Social, Trump boosted an anonymous user’s message that read, “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!” The message was in response to a news story about the video released Tuesday by six Democrats in the House and Senate, all with military or intelligence backgrounds.

In another message, Trump himself called it “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” that members of Congress would release such a video.

I'd say he's unhinged, but honestly this is the natural progression of a totalitarian takeover.

According to the Association of American Universities, Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill," which was signed in July of this year, imposes a lifetime cap of $100,000 in borrowing for graduate students and $200,000 for professional students.

Under the new rules, graduate students can borrow up to $20,500 a year, and professional students can borrow up to $50,000 a year. Starting July 1, 2026, the law will also end Grad PLUS loans — the program many students have relied on to cover education costs not covered by other financial aid.

In a statement from the American Nurses Association, Jennifer Mensik Kennedy, president of the American Nurses Association, lamented the affect this bill will have on the healthcare institution.

If you got money through abuse of power, abuse of power should be able to take it back and put it into a public trust. Or take whatever assets/property you used it on. Like entire fucking companies, buildings, yachts, stock portfolios...
