Former President Trump has been in a foul mood the past few weeks and has repeatedly called Vice President a "bitch" in private, the N.Y. Times' Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan report.
Why it matters: Axios has written extensively about this as the girls vs. boys election, with Democrats crushing the women's vote. Trump advisers privately concede his misogynistic language is deeply problematic, and something they worry he will unload in a public debate to his detriment.

Ok, so I'm a gigantic hypocrite. All through the non-campaign years I've repeatedly announced that "national average" polls are meaningless. Heck, I might even go so far as to say that MOST state polls aren't accurate.

On the other hand, broadly, they can spot a trend. Harris is trending up, and DonOld is trending down. So Kamala, just keep doing what you're doing, cause it seems to be working.

The playbook has them going after family members, friends, and affiliated organizations next, in that order. I wouldn't be surprised if they only thing they uncover is that he was, as a teacher, a member of a union.

As for stocks, real estate, etc: he's got some pretty impressive retirement income stacked up behind him, being a teacher, national guard service (retirement pay after 20 years), state governor, and U.S. congress. He doesn't need anything beyond that: they probably just want a house with a garage and garden to putter in.

It's believeable IMO, but obvs they can deny it as long as nobody has recorded it.

But it's undeniable that Trump has a habit of referring to any woman he doesn't like as "nasty". It's a word I think he reserves exclusively for women. It doesn't matter if they're a political rival or like just some reporter who asked a question he didn't like.

It was Nate Holden, a former city councilmember and state senator from Los Angeles, who said in an exclusive interview late Friday that he remembers the near-death experience well. He and others believe it happened sometime in 1990.

“Willie is the short Black guy living in San Francisco,” Holden said. “I’m a tall Black guy living in Los Angeles.”
