Super Bowl LIII

It looks like its going to be the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots. Neither of them are my team, but I'm going to be cheering on the Rams because they're a California team. But, mostly, I'll probably be watching for the commercials.

So, any predictions?

No predictions but like normal, I get to sit at work on a conference call while watching the game, in case there are any problems.

I predict the NFL, the team owners, and a selection of players are going to make a lot of money.

My brother (a rabid Pats fan) has not exactly appreciated my messaging him on facebook a couple times this evening that he may as well not bother watching the second half.

It's over. Pats won, big surprise. It wasn't even all that exciting. Even the commercials were kinda meh.

As I read it, there was a commercial festival with some nagging (what Americans pretend to be) football and show moments in between.

Yeah, the whole thing was pretty meh. Game, halftime, and commercials.

My favorite commercial is still the State Farm one from a couple of weeks ago....with the tanker truck full of Helium.

I watched Dutch football yesterday. I can't remember even one commercial.
And that is exactly how it should be. During commercials I go to the toilet, zapp around, get the peanuts, coffee or whatever.
When the commercials become more interesting than the game. It is time for a movie.

I consider the fooseball as interrupting the commercials. Then again, I just catch the good bits (the top commercials) the next day and if I do not feel like a movie watch the PuppyBowl.
