What bullshit! Their case doesn't even have a leg to stand on!!!

This confuses me a little bit. Are they saying that if your legs have to be amputated after a self-inflicted injury, insurance wouldn't cover the surgery at all? That seems kinda weird. The particulars are that 2019 he “dishonestly made a false representation to insurers, namely the injuries to his legs were the result of sepsis and were not self-inflicted, intending to make a gain”. He allegedly intended to make £235,622 from one insurer and £231,031 from another.
That seems to be the case at least for some insurance companies. This confuses me a little bit. Are they saying that if your legs have to be amputated after a self-inflicted injury, insurance wouldn't cover the surgery at all? That seems kinda weird.
The case isn't about medical insurance (not such a big deal here, because of the NHS). Or at least I don't think it is. It looks to me as if he tried to make claims against his two life insurance policies, which typically include cover not just for death but also for life-changing injuries or illness. This confuses me a little bit. Are they saying that if your legs have to be amputated after a self-inflicted injury, insurance wouldn't cover the surgery at all? That seems kinda weird.
Possibly. Without knowing the exact terms of the policy, we don't know.TW: Suicide.
They cover suicide for life insurance if the policy has been in effect for 2 years in the U.S. don't they? My logic is suicide is "self inflicted" death that is covered, so self inflicted injury should be covered if the policy has been in place for 2+ years. I mean, that's just the way I am thinking about it.
Ah okay, okay. That makes more sense then. The case isn't about medical insurance (not such a big deal here, because of the NHS). Or at least I don't think it is. It looks to me as if he tried to make claims against his two life insurance policies, which typically include cover not just for death but also for life-changing injuries or illness.
I hope they covered his mental health bills. This confuses me a little bit. Are they saying that if your legs have to be amputated after a self-inflicted injury, insurance wouldn't cover the surgery at all? That seems kinda weird.
Shrewsbury, PA where is that? Oh 2 1/2 hours away. Too far for a free hotdog
It wouldn't be the first artery to be clogged by hot dogs.A truckload of hot dogs spilled across a Pennsylvania interstate Friday after a crash that briefly clogged the heavily traveled artery in both directions.
Since the doll they want to burn is was sold two months ago at auction and isn't currently on sale, I think this is more like a good old-fashioned scam. The website on the flyer exists, but provides only a couple of links (which I didn't click) for people who want to contribute. There's nothing to identify the promoters, not even a link to some crackpot influencer's YouTube or TikTok channel.Whoa, it's been a while since we had a good cursed/Satan-possessed toy craze!

They've got videos at the bottom, as far as I can tell the site is registered via and hosted on squarespace.Since the doll they want to burn is was sold two months ago at auction and isn't currently on sale, I think this is more like a good old-fashioned scam.
