Even the Catholic Church differentiates between treatment for ectopic pregnancy and abortion, since the death of the foetus is an unfortunate, but unavoidable, consequence of an action intended to save the life of the mother rather than to destroy the foetus.

An ectopic pregnancy occurs when the fertilized ovum implants in the fallopian tube or in some other location. A mother facing a tubal pregnancy risks imminent rupture of the fallopian tube and thus there exists a danger to both the life of the mother and the child.

An ectopic pregnancy, which I had, is a guaranteed death sentence to the mother and potential child. There is no way a baby can survive, they can't take it out and put it where it belongs - I asked. This is absolute insanity. The entire world has gone freakin' bananas!!!!!!!

Well yeah when you ignore the word "Just". And yes they do what ever the hell they want when it comes to other people's lives and health. They don't care who they harm as long as they can have their silver spoon and eat with it too while the rest of us can't even scrape by because they have it all.

I came to that conclusion 50 years ago when I was 12. Dems are the least evil of all the political parties.

There are lots of good reasons why I have never been a member of any political party.

Even if I completely agreed with your assessment of Dems -- that they are corrupt and care only about themselves -- I would still point out that the DEGREE of indifference and corruption in the GOP is substantially, staggeringly different. These are not equivalent evils, not even close. Under "corrupt, indifferent" Dems, women still have rights to self-autonomy, gays still have the right to marry, interracial couples can marry, there is at least a crippled attempt at health care (which would be far less cripplied if not for the GOP). The list of rights and benefits championed (and won) by the Democratic party is long and the loss of them all will be viscerally painful to millions of U.S. citizens.

No, Dems aren't perfect. No party ever is. But life is not divided into a binary state of Everyone is Great vs. Everyone is Shit.There are gradations of good and bad, there are nuances even to degree of corruption and governmental indifference. Part of becoming a mature adult is recognizing that the lesser of two evils really is preferable, especially when the worst of two evils is living in an outright Christian fascist state. We're well on our way to finding at just how much worse that "other evil" can be.

That's a goddamn false equivalency and you know it. I think you've been watching too many libertarian rationalist videos. The Democrats aren't perfect, but they are far far better than the Republican party and have been for DECADES. There are plenty of LGBTQ+ people here and we KNOW this. We also know that those "politicians trying to control the population" are elected by the PEOPLE. If you believe that and want to see the problem....look in the mirror. Also "control the population" sounds like something a conservative trying to convince themselves they are libertarian would say.

It's not the Dems that are deliberately taking away my right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It's not the Dems that are burning the Declaration, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

It's not the Dems that are attempting to kill me simply because I am not white or male.

Of course not. The death penalty is still legal in the US and is not limited to non-citizens.
