Coffee creamer must be a mostly American thing. Most people in the UK drink their coffee black or with milk or cream. Unless they buy strange concoctions from Costa or Starbucks type places I suppose.

Black coffee for me. If anyone asks if I want something in it, I just ask for more coffee :)

I drink my coffee with 1 tsp sugar and a little 2% milk swirled in.

I got hooked on coffee when I went to work at Boeing in 1981, and we had a coffee machine in our work area. It was ten cents a cup, and periodically someone took the "coffee fund" money to buy supplies and occasionally donuts. They bought cans of plain-old ground coffee because this was work, not a Starbucks (of which there were two at the time, both in our area). That's what I've had ever since at home. It may sound boring, but I reserve exotic for other parts of my life. Brewing my morning pot of coffee is something I do before I'm fully awake, so I like to keep it simple.

I'm no coffee snob. Starbucks may be 'Big Coffee' but I like that they give their employees benefits, something a lot of independent / small-chains don't.

But, generally, the coffee is much better at the independent/small chain shops. Before Covid-19, I was regularly visiting 8 or so other coffee shops for my afternoon fix, depending on mood, weather, food plans, and whether I was bringing a book or tablet.

My favorite location was nearest me and had the best hang-out patio in the neighborhood... it was a starbucks but they broke their lease when their rent got jacked up. An independent gelato/lunch coffee place was set to move into the location... but then covid-19 hit, so that plan is probably dead now.

Before the $5 coffee service craze took off... folks likely went to a diner or dunkin donuts like spot for basic joe at a cheap price. I think Starbucks and their $5 cuppa fancy served coffee probably -helped- independent coffee houses charge more and become more viable. Who knows. :)

When I drink coffee it is uncontaminated by sweetener, whitener or dairy products.

I do need to have flavoured coffee, but it can't be from anything with sugar because diabetes - I do now use stevia in it, but not too much or its too sweet for me.

Black, first inch of the drip is best.

I'll add creamer if i've been drinking a lot just to break up the monotony.

Daily brew: 4/5th cup of REALLY strong coffee 1/5 cup full fat milk flat. No sugar.
Treat brew: Double shot espresso .. topped up with mad froth full fat milk. No sugar.

Prefer Colombian or Italian blends. Hate flavoured coffees. Don't like sour mocha type blends.... bitter or go home.

I don't usually drink coffee, but when I do I usually take it black with sugar. Once in a while I'll have it with a flavored creamer if it's available. Like a hazelnut or French vanilla creamer.

I don't drink coffee very often but when I do, I want truck stop coffee that has been boiling in the urn since 4 AM and black as road tar

I can take coffee black, but just prefer it with a dash of cream. Non dairy creamer works great, as does half and half. I also like cold brew black if the cold brew is very smooth.
