I like my coffee large, weak, cold and slightly sweet.

A dash of Torani Vanilla (or caramel) Syrup over heavily iced Trader Joe’s Ready to Drink Cold Brew Coffee. If the numerous neighborhood coffee houses were open, it would be iced Americano with vanilla or caramel instead (nearly the same thing).

Half & half -- with a double shot of espresso.

I'm not much on kitchen gadgetry -- mostly, my attitude is, "If I can't cook it with good basic kitchen tools*, it doesn't need to be brought into the world." However, my Instant Pot and my espresso machine are, so far as I'm concerned, Good Basic Kitchen Tools. Fight me! 🥊

* As I survey the kitchen, I note I seem to have a rather generous definition of "basic." Looked at objectively, there might be a little fetishism going on in here ...

My cold coffee has a bit of milk in it but hot coffee is drunk with no additives. I got used to drinking it plain while working in a nuclear plant where we were lucky that the NRC let us have coffee in the shop at all. Providing condiments was a prospect of nightmarish proportions.

Heavy cream, except now I have to use non dairy, half and half or milk because my stomach doesn't agree [or maybe more accurately my hopefully soon to be evicted gall bladder]

A large cup of French Roast coffee (made with my French Press), with 3 large teaspoons of sugar AND lotsa French Vanilla creamer! I do switch out my French Vanilla creamer with either Hazelnut or Caramel creamer. :)

It varies. The more "Vanilla" the better. Most commonly I use the Dunking Donuts Extra Vanilla or whatever or ID Sweet Cream. I think its ID.

Sometimes I get French Vanilla. Almost every time I get other flavors I end up hating then though currently I have a Smores flavor that's pretty good.

Also I don't use Sugar.

The base coffee tends to also be "vanilla" with no particular brand loyalty.

Peets "Big Bang" coffee, three scoops ground, brewed in the cup using a Melitta drip filter maker, then cooled slightly with a tablespoon of lactose-free milk. In point of fact, I'm having my second cup now; the first was 4 hours ago. No more coffee/caffeine for the rest of the day. Until California re-opens. Then, it's the house brew in my favorite coffee house in Santa Cruz. Heavens, I miss going out for coffee (or anything, for that matter!).

I've put myself on a restriction since 2 weeks now: Max 5 mugs a day.
It was getting out of control since the Corona virus and the lock down.

I wish I could accomplish that with comfort food too.
