If premium-plus cost more than twice of regular premium it'd make more sense to just go regular premium on multiple accounts. Last time I had a premium is was to play around with the newest Linden Homes, Belle... Bela.... whatever. Since the last price hike on regular premium accounts I've felt more inclined to rent parcels from the lesser evil landlords.
Bellisseria. According to spell check it should be Bellisario. Either way, Belli for short. Belly with an i.

The only thing that looks maybe worth the $50 a year over two premium accounts is the concierge-lite support, if you're running a business.

There are no premium-exclusive abilities, perks, or features that would make me willing to support Linden to a greater extent-

I want to make them make the base (free) platform better. Then I'd support them monitarily.

There is no point in me having features no one else can have.

Exclusive sandboxes are the silliest thing - great, another place to be lonely because no one can join unless they also pay.

Dead sandboxes are everywhere. You don't need to pay for it.

Yeah, the regular Sandboxes might have 3 people each on a wrage, the Premium Sandboxes are already like 1 on average.

Maybe Premium Plus sandbox has no return on, so you could just treat it like its a private region.

Ok I thought of one.

One Gridwide Experience Key.

I'll subscribe to premium plus if it gets me a single Gridwide Experience Key, which does not need to be greenlit by whatever plot-owner I'm currently standing on - need only be accepted by whoever wants to allow it. Doesn't care about land ownership.

I wouldn't invite anyone anyway, it would be for my own stuff to finally have key/value pairs without attachments needing to call home to check the database.

But let's be real here, that should be on default premium.

But hey, it would make me do premium plus. That's how bad I want it.

meh.
Free uploads would be nice, but still -meh.
I have two premiums as it is, so I'm already getting 2048sqm, and an L$800 stipend between the two, for ~$24USD/mo.

If I went for this I'd be paying $5USD more per month, lose L$150 in stipends but gain free uploads.
As I said -meh. Not a hard pass, but not all that fucking tempting either...
Naw, just thought about that and I take it back; it is a hard pass after all.

Yeah, like I said, "hardcore creators".

Assuming you aren't blindly uploading textures for testing, since you can use local textures, you would need 1-2 textures for most small objects or clothing items, plus maybe a texture for an in world vendor, if you aren't selling on the MP only. So that's 150L$ in uploads, or say, 6-7 items a month. EVERY month.

Which is probably pushing it for most people.

Even when I was making skins and makeup and uploading a pile of textures, I still doubt I would have spent the equivalent of US$50 in uploads, and now that my creative spurts are more intermittent, I definitely won’t. And, truth is, knowing that textures have a real world value encourages creators to be more careful with texture usage. I am constantly reusing textures in my mesh building and stuff loads quicker because of it.

I was hoping that P+ would be good value, but right now, cost & stipend to land ratio is all I’m really interested in. So based on those sums, I’m going to keep my little posse of alts as regular premium so I can keep my inworld stores. And if regular premiums go up again to make P+ look more attractive, I’ll be rethinking my inworld store presence.

If you don't upload 405 textures every month, you're not getting your money's worth.

But every texture after that is pure savings!

I'm still disappointed - just textures? Really? Not gonna give us mesh or even just animations? We still gotta pay for animations?!

I upload WAY more animations than textures.

I though I saw it included animations, and they were going to look i to discounted mesh.

It seems really oddly disorganized in its presentation for something that effecticely is an adjustment of "max whatever" in a table somewhere. Especially for as long as its taken to roll out. Its not like they added some flashy new actual feature for only P+ folks.

Takes a long time to make sure that the new toggle settings can take the punishment.

My hope was for stackable Plus fees that offered a choice of features i.e. increased tier, higher stipend, additional uploads, more groups. But it is refreshing to see that the Lab still screw every good idea to the floor and cut it down to a useless nub. Their consistency encourages me to believe that the Grid will endure another decade or two.

It's textures, sounds, and animations, with mesh added later. An a la carte option has been discussed by LL, but they are focused on implementing Premium+ at the present time. Wasn't anyone else there? The event can be watched on. LL's YouTube channel.

So, I was just posting on FB about this. Mesh is the most expensive thing to upload right now, even if you have the most efficient mesh ever its 11, I've never had it lower.

But really, its just too expensive, without being clearly for anyone [people are claiming its great for creators, but I'm not sure exactly how anyone would get their full value, because there are good -big- creator perks, but then there is the Linden Home thing.

Also, no, its too hot in the house even with fans and the AC going because its too hot outside. I have to turn off the lights at my desk to keep it from being too much, and minimize using things on my computer that cause extra heat. And I've just spent the last few months travelling way too much and mostly I just want to veg and veg away from even a ton of virtual people.

And well, I do have bigger worries on my plate right now. Its just, if this was less expensive I'd consider it, as my spouse and I try to get back into SL.

Depends on what you are doing in said sandbox. I tend to use the exclusive sand boxes for large physics experiments. (droping lots of things from very high) Exclusive sandboxes tend to be empty when I'm getting creative. Standing in a public sandbox and then having a house land on you can be very annoying. At least that is what the one lady implied to me, using some very colorful language.

5 step process on why we can't have nice things:

1. Sign bot up to premium plus
2. Create inworld vendor for prepayment/credits @5L per texture
3. Create online upload portal for textures bot will upload and pass to payee
4. Profit
5. Linden Lab removes free texture uploads

Soooo uhm... where do I advertise my 5L per texture upload service while the money is still good?
