Besides being a horrible human being and a terrible waste of a soul, is there a reason we should know anything about this guy? I mean, sure, he triggers everyone who has ever been bullied by a butthead, but we've already gone through four years of this. It's just plainly uninspired and repetitive.

We normally only hear about these people after an emaciated drug-addled body has been picked up from a high rent apartment after they'd checked out from normal life a few years earlier.

He does, though, have a considerable following, particularly among young men -- British teachers are are apparently very concerned about his malign influence on young teens, who think he's the epitome of cool.

Only today, Angela Rayner, the deputy leader of the Labour Party over here, has come in for quite some criticism, well-deserved, I think, for a dismissive tweet she'd written about how she'd not really been aware of him until Greta Thunberg put him down so spectacularly. People have been pointing out that, while she may not have heard of him, her two teenage sons certainly will have done, and they're the demographic most receptive to his repulsive ideas.
