Yeah, the quote was from the Daily Show's Desi Lydic while a guest on the Stephen Colbert show. Audience liked it. My immediate reaction was "um, Gump was a character name not a stage name".

At about the 2 minute mark is when she mentioned the "they use her porn name instead of her real name" part.

Definitely sounds more like 'a bit' than ignorance. I would imagine they're both very aware of the difference between a character name, stage-name, 'doing business as' name and legal name.

I mean... even the then Mr. Leibowitz had been on the Daily Show for nearly 3 years before legally changing his surname to Stewart. =)

Funny but not true. Under NY law a felon can vote so long as they aren't behind bars. Under FL law a felon can vote if the state he was convicted in allows it.
