I know this is not new, but I missed it before. Deal with it.

The Underground Gardens are almost walking distance from my teenage home. Katheryne Helendale ... it is a fun day trip and quite unique. It is just east of 99 on Shaw. If you find a cheap wine bottle and a bunch of cigarette butts in the parking lot we definitely don't know anything about it. Pretty sure we were at choir practice.

I stumbled upon Marius Hornberger, who creates a wide variety of stuff, from own tools to furniture. Very entertaining and fun to watch.

Remember Simone Giertz? She became famous (or infamous) on youtube as the "Queen of Shitty Robots." She's moved on from that funny but rather limited, uhm, profession and has since been building stuff on her channel that is, well, I'd say more than interesting. For example:

That was a ludicrously singular project with limited appeal, I think (despite the 13 million+ views it has!). What I really like is watching her think up, design and make her homey, personal problem solving furniture builds. Like the swivel chair with a dirty clothes hanger ring. Or whatever you'd call it (edit: she calls it a laundry chair).
