I declare that yesterday's elections on the whole left much to be desired, but were not thankfully not disastrous.
Okay so maybe my outlook was a little dour. It sounds like Dems had a pretty good night, versus what could have happened.I declare that yesterday's elections on the whole left much to be desired, but were not thankfully not disastrous.
Well, your state voted to keep slavery legal, so it's okay to feel down after the election.Okay so maybe my outlook was a little dour. It sounds like Dems had a pretty good night, versus what could have happened.
In my defense, I don't know how to enjoy good news anymore. Like, I was happy when Doofus lost, but that only lasted like a month until nazis ruined it with an attempted putsch. So now it's like, my brain almost wants to treat happy developments as a warning of impending terrible ones.

The fast-food chain was widely reviled after distributing the message through its German-language app on the 84th anniversary of mass antisemitic riots led by the Nazis across Germany and Austria, in which hundreds of synagogues were destroyed and more than 7,000 Jewish-owned shops were razed or looted.
Under the subject line “Memorial day for the Reich pogrom night”, KFC Germany wrote: “Go ahead and treat yourself to more soft cheese on your crispy chicken. Now available at KFCheese.”
Less than an hour later someone at the company appears to have noticed that this was in questionable taste and issued a second notification that said: “Through an error in our system we sent out an incorrect and inappropriate message through our app. We’re very sorry. We will immediately check our internal processes to ensure that this doesn’t happen again.”
Wow.
I doubt that chicken with cheese is.Wow.
So, um, is KFC chicken actually kosher?
Or it was a bit of code that took significant dates from a calendar and plugged them in to a template to automate social media posts.Yeah I kind of don't understand how that happened. It seems like a decision that was probably made outside of Germany, but KFC almost certainly has a corporate office inside Germany that ought to have caught it. I realize that [random national holiday X]-promotions are a thing, but come on, use some sense.
"I did all the rituals, blood sacrifices, chants and everything, why is none of this working?"
