"It shall be unlawful for any person to wear pants, trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses or skorts in any public place or places open to the public which either intentionally exposes undergarments or intentionally exposes any portion of the pubic hair, cleft of buttocks, or genitals."
My eyes aren't good. There's a very vague chance that the top of her undergarments were maybe visible under the shirt bow. Maybe. Possibly. If I knew how to capture images on an Apple, I'd show what I mean. Though I think it might just be the bow itself. You can see the outline of her nipples in her shirt, but the city ordinance cited was focused on the "pants, trousers, shorts, skirts..." region.
Regardless, stupid city ordinance.

It was the bow. And I wore less than that (halter top) in the freaking 70s in the same state right down the road from Winnfield. This "ordinance" is something much more recent. Unless I wear a heavily padded bra (no thank you!) my nipples always poke out. No law against that either in Lousyana.

I guarantee those 3 female cops had it out for her and "made an example" of her. That is how it is in Lousyana. It won't ever change.

Sometimes, it's all about the headline.

Pet goose? But geese are assholes! The only good geese are ones far away from you. IMHO bald eagles can eat all the geese they want, though I think wild geese in parks would be easier targets.

The US flags should have been hung upside down, but I'm glad some people had a good day on Sunday.

I don't think as many people are aware these days what the upside-down flag means as they were aware when we were young.

According to the U.S. Flag Code, the American flag should never be flown or otherwise displayed upside down. Flying the American flag upside down is a sign of disrespect. The proper way to fly it, of course, is to raise the American flag to the top of the flagpole. Assuming there’s no Presidential proclamation –and it’s not Memorial Day — the American flag should be flown at the top of the flagpole right side up.
The only exception in which it’s accessible to fly the American flag upside down, as per the U.S. Flag Code, is to signal danger or distress. The U.S. Flag Code says that flying the American flag upside down signals dangers or distress. When flown upside down, the American flag is recognized as a signal of danger or distress. But reports of people using an upside-down American flag to get rescued are few and far between.
Of course, this isn’t limited to the American flag. In many other countries, flying their respective flag upside down signals danger or distress. Upside-down flags have been recognized as a signal for danger or distress for centuries. Even today, dozens of countries recognize upside-down flags as a signal for danger or distress.

I've never seen a BK that looked like that.

On the other hand, I've never seen a BK in a mall.

Me either - I've seen plenty of McD's and Taco Bells but no BKs. I've also never seen a mall restaurant that had its own closed-off lobby! Not a fast-food food-court type place anyways.

I don't remember BK having that kind of decor either - BUT, the signs on the trash cans are very definitely BK's 2010's signage. I would say this BK can't have been closed for more than maybe 10 years.

There sometimes has been a mentality here at VVO to jump on anyone who suggests Biden is not great. He is so much better than Trump after all. The problem with that argument is here we are. The republicans might just take over everything and we'll slip into fascism because Biden and the majority of those in power in the Democratic party are too wishy washy to do anything about it. We need more people like AOC.
