I loved this film - as a kid.

Me too! I wanted one of the cars. It's a great gangster film parody and Jodie Foster pulls off a perfect moll with a heart performance. The weakest thing, as an adult. is the dubbed singing voices and the fact that some of the young actors American accents could have used more practice. Dapper Dan's and the dancer played by Bonnie Langford stuck out to me.

I've seen it described as a "thriller," which is not what I'd expect a show about the assassination of President Garfield to be labeled. But it is produced by the duo behind Game of Thrones and 3 Body Problem, so...

I'm strangely looking forward to seeing this four-episode series in November. I also really like the casting.

Thankfully a trailer is not the film, and early reviews seem encouraging, so I'm still holding out hope. It definitely leans heavily LGBTQ so MAGA will be hating on it; a net positive in my book no matter how much I like the movie.

It looks funnish. So tired though of bloody gore horror and (not this movie) gritty dirty distopia SRSLY. My zombie bar is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies so we'll see how this stacks.

I don't know how much it dips into the gore. But it's definitely more old school with a group or community suddenly having to combat zombies, rather than a handful of humans left in a world of them. Stuff like The Walking Dead did that to death (pun IS intended!)
