Yes. I saw those and the sanford ones with the striped barrel long before I saw a sharpie brand one.

I don't trust my memory well enough to claim "never" but I have no recollection of deliberately holding either a sharpie or a dry-erase board marker up to my nose for a deep whiff. *shudder* They're both nauseating.

The only markers that I can say with any certainty that I did sniff, were those scented magic markers I had as a kid, (cherry, orange, lemon, apple, blueberry, grape, cinnamon, licorice)
