They have joined the sugar ant infestation in our home this year.

OMG I’m having an ant problem, too! I thought they were sugar ants, then, after buying traps, I found out the were grease ants. I got better professional ones from the exterminator and they just seem to ignore them at the moment.

I think it’s because of all the rain we have had this summer. Much more bugs this year. I don’t get harassed much by mosquitoes usually, but this year they’ve attacked my legs and arms every time I’ve been on my hammock.
Fewer wasps, though.

Yeah, this year it's been hot and humid, and the usual traps have been ineffective. Usually I put them at the points the ants are getting in and they disappear in a few days. This year nothing stops them.

I forgot I had a slice of pizza left from last night! Just opened the fridge thinking, now, what shall I eat for breakfast…

I'm not sure if they're fruit flies or gnats, but they've been terrible around my office lately!
