I went food shopping this afternoon and amongst the frozen and prepped meals, I picked up a premade "calzone", which was a bit larger than a hot pocket*. It was spinach and cheese, which until I ate it for dinner a little while ago, I had not known was exactly what I needed. *pats tummy*

* Since I've been home from the hospital/rehab, I haven't been eating as much per meal/serving. Last week I picked up a meatball sub (sandwich) with some fries, and nearly couldn't finish it (I had to toss some of the fries out).
Well after my husbands chemo treatment was complete, he noticed that the taste of food had changed as well as reducing his appetite too. Slowly, he seems to be returning to normal and has even gained some weight.

The sequel will probably be better.

So, Inhave been growing some herbs, specifically Basil Pesto, and Oregano. I looked into how to harvest it online.

The Oregano has worked out fine, I cut it off when it starts to get long and dry it and stick it in a lottle jar.

The Pesto, I pick the leaves, rinse them a bit, chop them up in the food processor with ssome garlic and add some olive oil to make Pesto. Sometimes I also just put it in scambled eggs at breakfast.

But man... The basil... apparently it... Kind of fucks with your bowels if you eat too much. Would not recomend.

That's true of anything you eat.

I prefer sweet basil.

Feeling bored, I asked ChatGPT to "Write instructions for making a cup of tea as they might be found in the Necronomicon."

This was the result

**Brewing the Eldritch Elixir: The Necronomicon's Tea Ceremony**

1. **Preparation of the Vessel**: Acquire an ancient chalice, forged in the fires of a thousand lost souls. It must have seen many moons and been tainted by the cries of the damned. Should you not possess such a vessel, a dark porcelain teacup shall suffice.

2. **The Eerie Infusion**: Seek the most forbidden tea leaves, whispered to have been harvested under a blood moon from the haunted gardens of R'lyeh. If this is out of your mortal reach, Earl Grey or Assam, with a tinge of despair, shall do.

3. **Water of the Abyss**: Draw water from the deepest well, where even the bravest dare not tread, or from the weeping tears of a banshee. Boil this water, letting the vapors whisper the incantations of the old ones.

4. **Casting the Spell**: As the water reaches the boiling point of damnation, recite verses from Kitab al-Azif. Pour the bubbling hot water over the tea leaves, letting them drown and unleash their dark flavors.

5. **Stirring the Depths**: Stir the infusion with a rod carved from the bone of a long-forgotten beast. Three stirs to the left to summon the spirits, three to the right to bind them to the elixir.

6. **Waiting Through the Ages**: Allow the brew to steep for exactly three minutes and thirty-three seconds, the time it takes for a shadow to cross the path of destiny.

7. **The Final Ritual**: If you dare, add the milk of a black goat and sweeten with honey sourced from the hives of the underworld. Beware, for this step may either intensify the potency or quell the spirits.

8. **Consumption of the Eldritch Liquid**: Drink the tea in silence, letting the dark flavors transport you to realms beyond human comprehension. Remember, with every sip, you tread closer to the ancient ones.

*Drink responsibly and do not summon what you cannot banish.*

**Web search results**:

- [Necronomicon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necronomicon): The Necronomicon, also referred to as the Book of the Dead, or under a purported original Arabic title of Kitab al-Azif, is a fictional grimoire (textbook).

Might have to give it a try.

Wendy's is selling a pumpkin spice-flavored Frosty
For the first time, Wendy’s is adding a pumpkin spice-flavored Frosty to its menus for a limited time beginning September 12.

Wendy’s said the new flavor “merges the same creamy, delectable texture Frosty fans know and love with hints of pumpkin and a blend of warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg for a taste of familiar fall flavors in every bite,” in a press release.

I have missed my orange juice.

I stopped drinking it at the end of January, when I went into the hospital for, you know, and only started up again these past few weeks.

I really just enjoy the sharp, tangy citrus shot in the mouth on a first sip, and the almost electric buzz I get from deep glugs of it. I tend to prefer the aftertaste of Tropicana, but even the store brands for me can do it. I think I'm addicted.
