I love summarizing recipe pages with it when the recipe site has ads that keep reloading and snapping the text up and down while you’re fighting with the persistent “Subscribe to our newsletter!” popup.Yeah, I'm not familiar enough with Copilot to know the limitations of any continuity in our interactions. I don't use it often enough to get a feel for that, and this is the first time I've addressed its rhetorical style.
I can't deny it's been useful on occasion, but not "destroy the planet through increased energy consumption" useful.
For some reason, I have it in my head that you have or had MS360. If you still have it, you probably have Copilot as part of the package unless you went out of your way to opt out of it.I've got the pipe wrench version because there's no way I would pay for this stuff. (Please note, that as a retired person, I don't have to worry about my productivity.) That being said, it's done a pretty good job with the (very few) interactions I've had so far. I don't worry about trustworthy results because I'm asking "soft" questions where the worst that can happen is that it hallucinates "This is a k-pop artist you would enjoy listening to."
MS365 doesn't really include alot extra that I can tell. I think you get credits but its honestly not clear how to even use it.For some reason, I have it in my head that you have or had MS360. I remember at one point I had to go through some hoops to get Copilot removed from my subscription -- so it might be on there. (Microsoft policies seem to shift faster and more irrationally than the Reich's tariff policies, so who the hell knows?)MS365 doesn't really include alot extra that I can tell. Yeah, if you try to cancel, it offers the old rate without AI.I remember at one point I had to go through some hoops to get Copilot removed from my subscription -- so it might be on there. Anyway, I did some more box clicking, then downloaded the app, logged in, and thar she blew.
Yeah, I had a whole thread about canceling my MS360 sub the next time it comes up for renewal (in November of this year). I was under the impression Copilot was part of Windows 11, but It's possible Copilot is part of that MS360 plan, in which case it's going bye-bye, along with Word and Excel. For some reason, I have it in my head that you have or had MS360. "ChatGPT give me a good password."OK, so, yet another task A.I. is crappy at.

We got an inflatable dinosaur to replace the bear once, and gave it a badge, but it went flat too fast.We have a Marvin the Martian doll; he even has an official ID hanging from his fringe.
