The freedom of speech is very limited as it is over there. I don't think a lot of regulars (besides the well known cheerleader pack) will even bother to put in an effort to respond any longer if this becomes common practice.

And this way of moderation asks a lot more time from the Moles and Lindens.

Good point -on the other hand, the less people who try to post, the less work there is for the moles and lindens.

How's the VV1 moderation team lookin these days? I wouldn't be surprised if we get an influx of folks here ...

I hope not. VVO is my only home on the net now and I'd really hate to lose it because certain people from over there enjoy making my life a living hell. My tolerance threshold drops the older I get.
