I use which ever I have, cabbage or lettuce and like both. I find that when I make tacos with pork (carnitas) that cabbage seems to taste better than lettuce with them. BTW - Carnitas are a great way to use a cheap cut of pork. Split it in half and one half make pulled pork sandwiches and with the other half, make carnitas.
