No one can see the evil if you can't broadcast it.

A documentary featuring mothers surviving Israel’s genocide in Gaza. A video investigation uncovering Israel’s role in the killing of a Palestinian American journalist. Another video revealing Israel’s destruction of Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank.

YouTube surreptitiously deleted all these videos in early October by wiping the accounts that posted them from its website, along with their channels’ archives. The accounts belonged to three prominent Palestinian human rights groups: Al-Haq, Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights.

The move came in response to a U.S. government campaign to stifle accountability for alleged Israeli war crimes against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Excellent job of burying that "Don't be evil" motto of yours, Google.

There is still an investigation against Netanyahu ongoing for corruption, bribery and fraud. As you can expect from such a good friend of the orange...

Now Netanyahu had the audacity to ask the president of Israel, Isaac Herzog, to grant him pardon and end the five year corruption trial.

Netanyahu denies any wrongdoing and claims the corruption trial is a “deep state” conspiracy, a politically orchestrated “witch-hunt” by rivals and the media.

He has also argued that if he is pardoned, he will be able to strengthen Israel at a tumultuous time for the Middle East.

The Israeli PM’s submission comes weeks after United States President Donald Trump urged Herzog to pardon Netanyahu.

Netanyahu’s 111-page pardon request submitted to Herzog’s office refers to Trump’s earlier request.

In his pardon request, Netanyahu does not admit guilt or wrongdoing.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid said Netanyahu cannot be granted a pardon “without an admission of guilt, an expression of remorse, and an immediate retirement from political life”.

However, legally, an admission of guilt is not required, Dana Blander, a research fellow at the Israel Democracy Institute, wrote in an article. Legally, there are no conditions for a pardon.

The pardon request will first be reviewed by the Ministry of Justice’s pardons department, which will send its opinion to Herzog’s office.

While the president usually follows the ministry’s recommendation, he is not required to do so.

Herzog has previously said he sees a negotiated settlement between prosecutors and Netanyahu’s legal team as the most effective way to conclude this legal matter.

Alongside the prime real estate grab, there's this.

...off the coast and beneath the occupied lands of Palestine, over 3 billion barrels of oil are estimated to exist, according to a 2019 U.N. report. These numbers don’t even include the gas potential in Palestine. The Levant Basin, which sits in the Mediterranean, is estimated to have some 1.7 billion barrels of oil while over 1.5 billion barrels are estimated to lie beneath the occupied West Bank area...
Many of the region’s gas and oil fields are underneath Gaza. Israeli airstrikes have been leveling entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Talaat of MENAFem Movement for Economic, Development, and Ecological Justice believes that the expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza has been the plan for years.
“It was always about oil. It was about evacuating Gaza people from Gaza,” Talaat said. “Gaza is floating on oil.”

Iceland becomes fifth country to boycott Eurovision

Iceland has joined Spain, Ireland, Slovenia and the Netherlands in saying it will boycott the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.

All five countries have withdrawn after Israel's participation in the competition was officially confirmed last week.

Stefan Eiriksson, director-general of Icelandic national broadcaster RÚV, said: "There is no peace or joy connected to this contest as things stand now. On that basis, first and foremost, we are stepping back while the situation is as it is."

RÚV said Israel's participation had "created disunity among both members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the general public".

Israeli police arrested a Palestinian man dressed as Santa Claus during a raid on a Christmas party in Haifa, a civil rights monitor has said.
Israeli officers closed an event celebrating Christmas on Sunday, confiscating equipment, and arresting the Palestinian Santa Claus, as well as a DJ and a street vendor. In a video, police can be seen pushing the men to the ground and handcuffing them as bystanders watched.
The Israeli police said in a statement that the man wearing the Santa Claus costume resisted arrest and assaulted an officer.
In his first Christmas address as pontiff, Pope Leo condemned the abysmal humanitarian situation in Gaza, where hundreds of thousands live in tents and substandard dwellings in the biting cold and rain. He referenced the story of Jesus being born in a stable, and said that it showed that God had “pitched his fragile tent” among the people of the world.
“How, then, can we not think of the tents in Gaza, exposed for weeks to rain, wind and cold,” he said, lamenting “the defenseless populations, tried by so many wars”.

Long read packed with info not found elsewhere.

"What is happening in Gaza is not a ceasefire, but a lower intensity, slower-paced killing operation by an Israeli regime daring Palestinians to fight back."
He described how Palestinians held inside Israeli prisons regularly go on prolonged hunger strikes, in some cases to achieve a simple demand that they be given glasses to drink tea. “So someone who cannot give up small things—and who paid the price of going on a hunger strike for twenty days just to obtain that one glass cup—why do you expect him to surrender?” he added. “This is the Palestinian mentality. Failing to understand it will lead major political leaders—including Trump and his team—to a wrong understanding, and therefore to wrong decisions. The feeling that Palestinians are weak, that their capabilities are limited, that Gaza has been destroyed, and that the occupation today has achieved all its glory through attacking the Palestinians—this leads to a false conclusion: that the world can live with this situation. And I tell you: it cannot.”

Israel is set to suspend the operating licenses of Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam and dozens of other humanitarian aid groups in Gaza and the West Bank over alleged ties to Hamas, preventing international aid workers from entering Gaza and carrying out critical, lifesaving operations. Citing the groups' supposed support for the "delegitimization of Israel," the move is "arbitrary and highly politicized," explains Shaina Low, communications adviser for the Norwegian Refugee Council, one of the impacted groups. "This is just one more step to push out principled humanitarian actors, particularly those that speak out on behalf of the people who we're there to serve, call for accountability for rights violations and violations of international law."

Palestinian citizen of Israel wins UK asylum over ‘well-founded fear of persecution’

Hasan (not his real name) is believed to be the first Palestinian with an Israeli passport to be given refugee status in the UK. But the decision came only after two about-turns by the Home Office and a protracted legal battle.

The 26-year-old was born in Israel but despite spending almost his entire life in the UK with his mother and siblings was denied leave to remain or citizenship. He claimed asylum on the basis that he would face persecution in Israel because he had been involved in pro-Palestinian demonstrations in person and online while in the UK and would also face discrimination as a Palestinian and a Muslim.

Considering the times, I'd just label it "AI slop" and move on. But again, considering the times...

Yeah.... I've thought a lot lately how modern fascists still don't like jews, but have a complicated relationship with Israel. But a lot of it is just hating Muslims more.
It's also because of the End times prophecies that require all the Jews to be in Israel and the temple to be rebuilt. They think that supporting Israel and letting them do whatever will mean that all the Jews will exercise their right of return when the Palestinians are all gone...and then Jesus will come back and all the Jews will die anyway.
