According to new court filings, Representative Matt Gaetz attended a sex party with a 17-year-old girl.

The court filings contain sealed affidavits from three eyewitness testimonies that the party was held at the Florida home of lobbyist Chris Dorworth, who is also a friend of Gaetz, NOTUS reported Friday. The filings were part of a civil lawsuit brought by Dorworth in 2023. Dorworth ultimately dropped the lawsuit, but Dorworth’s attorneys filed the documents in federal court to try and recoup legal fees.

One of the witnesses said in a sworn affidavit that the teenager, who was a junior in high school at the time, was naked; people attending the party engaged in “sexual activities”; and partygoers consumed alcohol, cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana. Testimony from the witness and two other women, one of whom was Gaetz’s then girlfriend, all placed the congressman at the party. A digital forensic examiner also confirmed activity from Gaetz’s cell phone at Dorworth’s house.

An unknown hacker has obtained a copy of testimony from a woman who was 17 years old when she allegedly had sex with Matt Gaetz in 2017, according to a shocking new report from the New York Times. The hacker nabbed the computer file through a secure link shared among lawyers who are representing the women who allege they had sex with Gaetz and sold him illegal drugs, charges the former congressman from Florida denies.

The file, which doesn’t appear to have leaked publicly yet, includes 24 exhibits, with the most potentially damaging exhibit being testimony from a woman who says she was 17 when Gaetz had sex with her, according to the Times. The file also includes corroborating testimony from a woman who said she personally witnessed the sexual encounter, an allegation that first became public over the weekend when the story was reported by ABC News.

The House Ethics Committee obtained records, including a check and records of Venmo payments, that appear to show that then-Rep. Matt Gaetz paid more than $10,000 to two women who were later witnesses in sexual misconduct probes conducted by both the House and the Justice Department, according to documents obtained by ABC News.

The Venmo records show that between July 2017 and late January 2019, Gaetz -- who was first elected in 2016 -- allegedly made 27 Venmo payments totaling $10,224.02 to the two witnesses, who were over the age of 18 at the time.

The payments, which sources said were displayed during closed-door testimony, ranged from $100 to more than $700 each.

“I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback - and the incredible support of so many,” Gaetz said in a statement posted on his X account.

“While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition,” said the former Republican congressman from Florida.

“There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General,” he said.

Reactions mounted Thursday after a woman sharing her story for the first time said that then-Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sexually abused her when she was just 17, while she was living in a homeless shelter and trying to save money to buy braces to fix her teeth.

Laura B. Wolf, an attorney for the then-teenager and now-woman, spoke to The New York Times about the ordeal. Times journalists reached out to Wolf after a federal judge in Florida unsealed court documents that described the victim as "a then-homeless 17-year-old high schooler."

Wolf said her client was living with a parent in a homeless shelter and needed money when she falsely advertised herself as an 18-year-old on a "sugar daddy" dating website in 2017.
