So, I don't play Gachas, so I may be completely off here.

The new system, let's the last buyer have a chance to keep buying on a timer. Let's say, 30 seconds.

Let's say it's 30 seconds. Let's say it's 100L$/pull, and the Gatcha is limited to a week at an event.

That's 20,160 pulls in a week. A total of 2,016,000L$.

So, for an "investment" of around $8000 USD, one could make EVERY pull, and have the only copies of the stuff from the machine. Then sell them at a mark up on the MP.

The only gachas I can think of is even think of buying as a fatpack are Petrichor s, and those are now copy. And available in smaller sets of you don't want the whole thing,
Just today I put on an outfit made with gacha items and found that SL had eaten the shoes, SOI a no-copy thing would have to be either very cool or very necessary for me to buy it.

I can think of several fatpacks I'd buy:
pet collections by Hextraordinary
decoration sets by [kunst] or DRD

but of course only copy and decor only copy mod

That's why I wouldn't shell out thousands of $L for a set. Maybe if I wanted every single piece and the merchant would guarantee a replacement if SL ate it, but that ain't gonna happen, lol.
Except the one I mentored earlier, but those would be copy in the first place, now.

I have my av height set at just under 5' 9" according to FS. Even at this height most furniture is way too big for my av. It makes her look like a child in an adult sized chair so yes it had better be mod and copy. I have to reduce the size of most things by about half which reduces the LI as well. No, I am not interested in my avatar becoming Gigantor ever again.

There is no reason for them not to use a redelivery system even if it's the MP. The MP redelivery is the only reason I buy anything from the MP. I prefer to use the "government taxpayer funded" system over the "private" systems just in case the private one(s) go belly up.

So, as someone who used to have gachas - the stuff I was already selling as a 'set' [sometimes it was just scripted version of item] was always copy/mod/!transfer

I'm still not decided on if I'm going to plop the rest into sets or not, prolly will.

I spent that much on a single butt plug. But it was a 'rare" one.

sometimes - but the lack of ability to script and link just devalues them too much in most cases

Please use a prim, or Vaelissa Cortes' shape tools as they have a great guestimate. Second Life Marketplace - Shape Tools
Built in viewer height detection is better but only slightly better then basic height detection scripts that only account for the hitbox (which stops at the middle of the eyes, and the ankles). You may be taller then you think!

Thanks. I've been in SL since 2004 and I'm pretty sure I know what I mean more than you. I was also on the FS support team for over 5 years so I'm pretty familiar with the viewer as well.
