Can you be sure of that?Won't ever happen.
Basically not as unrealistic as some might think. All it takes is LL "borrowing" the poser idea from Nirran for their own viewer and BANG! most 3rd party viewers will follow suit. Can you be sure of that?
They wont borrow it from me, i'll have to offer it. Which i already did years ago and you see where this got us. (nowhere)Basically not as unrealistic as some might think. There's a camera control widget as an optional button.Having deleted Black Dragon Viewer for reasons that were made apparent in the BDV thread, I'm wondering if there's a setting in Firestorm (or alternately a screencap HUD of some sort) that allows one to rotate the camera horizontally or vertically. Thanks!
The Phototools button or the button that looks like a camera? Camera rotation isn't on there. There's a camera control widget as an optional button.
I'll check the wiki. Thanks!IIRC there are also ways to adjust the default camera angles and other parameters in the Advanced menu or the Developers one. I'm not inworld now, so I can't look at the moment, but it should say on the Firestorm wiki.
Button that looks like an eyeball, you may have to add it.The Phototools button or the button that looks like a camera? Camera rotation isn't on there.
Just checked. There is no option to use in that menu to rotate the camera vertical/horizontal.Button that looks like an eyeball, you may have to add it.
What Menu? Unless you mis-responded about the camera settings in Preferences, then yes, there's no rotation, and IIRC those are the same as the debug settings.Just checked. There is no option to use in that menu to rotate the camera vertical/horizontal.
I know exactly what menu you're talking about. None of the options in that menu do the thing I'm asking for. But thanks! What Menu? Unless you mis-responded about the camera settings in Preferences, then yes, there's no rotation, and IIRC those are the same as the debug settings.
What I'm talking about is a widget. Right side moves the camera up/down/left/right, Left side rotates the camera. Slider in the middle is Zoom. You can save presets.
If you don't have the "Camera Controls" button on your toolbar, you can add it. Or get to it via Avatar -> Camera controls.

Are you asking if you can rotate the camera as if it were on a tripod giving you 360 view?I know exactly what menu you're talking about. None of the options in that menu do the thing I'm asking for. But thanks!
Like the proverbial duck. Are you asking if you can rotate the camera as if it were on a tripod giving you 360 view?
Not quite on story, but close enough?um... woosh.
It would seem my brain does not want to brain today. Not quite on story, but close enough?
Duck Rotation NFT | Foundation
Duck Rotation (est. 2008) was an attempt to document wildlife in Second Life, and captures the movement of some pretty amazing ducks. My PC was slow, so the vid…foundation.app
And now, I may have *accidentally* stumbled upon how NFTs are going to infiltrate Second Life! ROTATE THE DUCKS.
No. I'm asking if I can tilt the camera horizontally and vertically. Are you asking if you can rotate the camera as if it were on a tripod giving you 360 view?
