Basically not as unrealistic as some might think. All it takes is LL "borrowing" the poser idea from Nirran for their own viewer and BANG! most 3rd party viewers will follow suit.

Having deleted Black Dragon Viewer for reasons that were made apparent in the BDV thread, I'm wondering if there's a setting in Firestorm (or alternately a screencap HUD of some sort) that allows one to rotate the camera horizontally or vertically. Thanks!

There's a camera control widget as an optional button.

IIRC there are also ways to adjust the default camera angles and other parameters in the Advanced menu or the Developers one. I'm not inworld now, so I can't look at the moment, but it should say on the Firestorm wiki.

The Phototools button or the button that looks like a camera? Camera rotation isn't on there.

Just checked. There is no option to use in that menu to rotate the camera vertical/horizontal.

What Menu? Unless you mis-responded about the camera settings in Preferences, then yes, there's no rotation, and IIRC those are the same as the debug settings.

What I'm talking about is a widget. Right side moves the camera up/down/left/right, Left side rotates the camera. Slider in the middle is Zoom. You can save presets.

If you don't have the "Camera Controls" button on your toolbar, you can add it. Or get to it via Avatar -> Camera controls.
