Some of Twitter's draws were real-time news and the ability for groups to organize gatherings/protests, including in countries where such things are illegal or dangerous. It would be outright dangerous for those folks to have his little blue checkmark.

He's yet another billionaire who thinks that he should be running the world, that his visions and beliefs are the only valid ones.

I hope Twitter goes down. Something new will arise and will work for a short time before the rich take that over, as well. I would really love to see him lose his investment.
