The 1500 sweaters knitted *for* Bernie don't count.
That's interesting, but not at all surprising to me, especially the part about CEO's of major Minnesotan companies donating to her regardless of their political leaning. Traditionally, most companies in Minnesota lean liberal even if they also have some Republican leanings and by that I mean traditional Republican views, not the crazy whacked-out insanity that the party has become. For the sake of argument, I'll call them pre-Reagan Republicans.
Tangent, but entertaining:
Fucking zombie vote. They're such libertarians.2% favor it
ADOS may have began a couple of years ago as a little known group with hopes of expecting reparations possible by limiting eligibility, but it was always completely fucking ridiculous in its assertion of different levels of deserved blackness. The mild explosion in social media came immediately following Democratic Party candidates announcing their intentions to run.
Black Aziz aNANsi
(@Freeyourmindkid) | TwitterIt is well understood that there are members who are real people.I'm not going to argue about the point about levels of blackness, because I find that unsavory. But those people are not bots. That video is of the creator of the ADOS term and he is even organizing a conference around it. It has balls to do with Russia; it's about black political maturity, to finally demand material and tangible gains for black people in return for black votes. That is a separate but related issue that has to be addressed. Their goal is not "not voting" per se, although some of them will do that. But they want to see real gains for their votes. That's more than understandable. They want planks that address their issues, to help build black wealth.
You know, Brian, you are a prime example of why the people that do advocate against voting for the Democratic Party have a point. You are the "evil piece of fucking shit" that doesn't care about their point of view and interests at all. I don't share their reasoning, but I at least try to understand it.It is well understood that there are members who are real people.
That the group has been heavily compromised by the same Russian interests which has been interfering in our elections is undeniable.
It has nothing to do with helping black people. It expects people to have ancestry to specific US slaves brought here from Africa. It is now solely concentrated on dividing black people in the US politically. They endorse no one because no one can possibly single out certain descendants who have no equal possibility of identifying themselves, have no unique experiences from other blacks or poc, for targeted issues.
They have no interests in anything that would be universally beneficial to black people or other poc. They are overwhelmingly trying to promote not voting.
Stop being an evil piece of fucking shit.
Just about the only Republican I ever voted for, along with Durenberger and Ramsted. I wish those days would come back.As an example of someone (not a CEO) who I think represents a traditional Republican in Minnesota we have Arne Carlson. He won governorship as a Republican.
Could you detail who these are so I can be sure not to support them, please?the Ayn Randian nonsense of people like Tim Pawlenty, Scott Walker etc...have made some inroads here, as well, more politically than socially and driven by a very select sector of business owners I will reference below. They haven't yet been able to breach tradition. There is a cabal of rather dark money that emanates from one particular group of business/political leaders.
The class of people that receive that hate, who have been demoralized, oppressed and robbed are those identified as being black today. Nobody checks heritage before claiming the apartment has been rented, the job has been taken, calls the police on them, etc. They identify skin color. You know, Brian, you are a prime example of why the people that do advocate against voting for the Democratic Party have a point. You are the "evil piece of fucking shit" that doesn't care about their point of view and interests at all. I don't share their reasoning, but I at least try to understand it.
The reason why they focus on black descendants of slavery is because that class of people has been shit on since 1607, that class of people who built this country but got nothing but hate for it. They are the ones who have been demoralized, oppressed and robbed of wealth for centuries. They don't have generational wealth. There is a strong moral argument to demanding an agenda that benefits black descendants of slaves and there is a reckoning that has to come on that issue. You don't care about that, though, because it doesn't affect you. Why should they vote for your preferred candidate, if nothing changes for them? You can continue to keep your head up your ass on this. It will only get worse the next time they trot out more shills for the status quo.
Seriously? And for the Democratic Party primary to turn into all out open season -
Bernie announces
I don't think HRC has any intentions of running.Seriously?
He needs to fuck off.
ETA: I'm all for more progressive candidates - really I am. The problem is that both those candidates and the general voting public need to face reality.
If they can't? Don't ruin the whole fucking thing for the rest of the populace.
