If you start at the date of 1,000 cases and check how many days until approximate doubling, it was 3 days for a while to double. In the final 4 days on that table (starting 3/18), it changed to 2 days to double! Because Trump killed the pandemic directorate and then starved the CDC, we were/are unprepared for this exponential disaster.

Takes 5-15 days after getting infected to test positive. Then you have to add how long hangovers masked disease symptoms, and test availability.
