Years ago I had a cat that did that little trick. My son was around 6 yrs old & I went into his bedroom one day after hearing the muffled cries of our cat. I found the cat in a closed drawer of his dresser. He got blamed & scolded for putting the cat in there even tho he swore he didn't do it. It was a few days later when I spotted the cat doing just what the cat above was doing. I had to apologize to my son & even tho it's 40 yrs later he still remembers getting blamed for putting the cat in the dresser drawer. lol

The cat we had with all the toes liked to hide in kitchen cabinets during thunderstorms. You could hear repeated banging as he tried to open them to get in, followed by the other cat storming into the kitchen and opening one for him.
