Honestly I'm not surprised as I have seen one of my little sneaky guys jump up and keep hitting the knob on the lock until it turned and then jump on the handle of the door to open it. I've had to change the type of locks because I was worried that not only would they escape, the little bugger would leave the doors open and other critters or prowlers would come in.

It's been in the news a lot. The gradmas' are feeding them away from residential/commercial areas and they spay every cat they can at their own expense. The city animal control officer personally approves of what they are doing, and his only correction has been directing them to move down the street a bit away from commercial areas, which they have. City officials don't like them because it shows the city as not doing enough to decrease the number of strays. This is one of those "personal issues" where the mayor or someone is needlessly getting on a high horse out of personal pique about being shown up.

This would be me if I ever let the Cat Crack jar anywhere near my cats. They start circling my feet the minute they see me carrying the jar, and the two boys will lunge for my hand as I dole it out. I have to sprinkle it from above so they can't reach me.

That brand makes some powerful cat drug, let me tell ya.
