I agree with you. It was his cooking channel that drew me in as well. However after a couple things in their main channel left me feeling odd, I unsubbed. Same thing with another channel I loved as it was a husband wife building their own home. I learned things about house construction and why certain choices are better depending on the area you're building in but then i started to notice that they did not have a single old tool. Everything was fresh and new, new toolboxes, they actually owned the new backhoe and lift, bought a new truck, bought am airplane. Hell even on the secondary market planes are expensive to purchas nopt to mention the hanger fees, maintenance and fuel costs. So I unsubbed as if you're telling me you have all this experience building and such but every one of your tools has no sign of use and you don't even have an old tape measure or well used screwdriver lying around, something rings flase to me. I'm not against buying new tools when you need them but old hand tools tend to be better made and even I have my own battle scarred tools plus ones from my Dad and Grandfathers in both my tool boxes and travelling tool bag.
