Those were the days.It would be a replay of 1912, except Republicans were the incumbents then. Roosevelt felt Taft had abandoned his progressive platform, so he challenged him at the convention (primaries were not really binding at the time, making a floor fight possible). When Taft was renominated, Roosevelt ran as a Progressive. Wilson won with under 42% of the popular vote because of the Republican split.
Somehow, this is like him announcing he's going to go jerk-off because his girl friend has dumped him.
This reminds me, my favorite nickname for Ivanka is "nepotism Barbie."
A replay, except then, the republicans were the good guys still..... >.>It would be a replay of 1912, except Republicans were the incumbents then. What Govi describes is not how the process works. First *any* federal judge can administer the oath of office, as was done with Johnson after Kennedy was shot. They brought the first judge they could find to Air Force One and did it right there. But the person has to be *qualified* to take the Oath, as in chosen by the Electoral College, and the votes counted by the House of Representatives. The VP follows the same process as the President, so Harris would also be qualified. Trump would not be due to losing the Electoral College. He could stage anything he wants, but it wouldn't be valid, and likely no federal judge would do it.You guys really know how to make a girl not be able to sleep at night!
Might be a tad difficult once New York State throws him in jail for any number of crimes, and Deutsche Bank forecloses on his real estate. If I had to guess, It would be that Trump continues to try to exert complete and dominant control over the Republican party. It fits his m.o.
I don't verify.Doesn't seem to be on his timeline. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Nah he'll be back. Can we take bets now?
If Trump visits Mar-a-Lago during the holidays, will he simply not return to the White House?
