After this election let's seriously ostracize trump voters. Alienate them into crushing anomie.
Reduce them to miserable loneliness, vulnerable to the first cult that comes along.
I will lead that cult. They will flock to me in their misery, and I will have them put fish in their mouths on youtube.
Seriously, though. I know the minds of victims of scams and cults.
After this election, 40% of the country will feel disaffected, adrift, and deep in anomie.
They will be psychologically vulnerable to any scams or cults they encounter, desperate for community and meaning.
If you were a scammer, you could make a fortune come November using voter rolls to identify trump voters.
This deepening alienation will have harmless, amusing effects, as well as lead to more white men shooting up public spaces.
Expect several scam sites to appear, asking for donations from trump supporters for various causes.
Expect the wave of anomie to result in a rise of both bundy ranch communities and people preying on the increased vulnerability
Come november, 40% of the population will be psychologically malleable, able to be deformed into whatever a charming man wants them to be
This malleability means that you should expect a ready audience for trump tv. It will make money, and become a daily source of information.
On it, there will be scams even more egregious than glenn beck's gold scams. The audience will be self-selected for gullibility.
Oh: there is a reason why nigerian 419 scams use such poor grammar: it selects for the uneducated and gullible.
Trump essentially 419 scammed the country. His unhinged and incoherent word salad did exactly what poor grammar in a 419 email does.
Once a 419 scammer has weeded out the skeptical, they know that any victims remaining are absolute goldmines.
Maybe only 1 out of 100,000 victims is gullible enough to ignore the grammatical errors and hotmail account. But, that person is *gold*
Trump essentially identified that 1 out of 100,000 people. That information is priceless to anyone who needs a sucker.
Expect trump's databases of supporters to be hacked, leaked, and sold. Anyone who donated will be a target.
Trump as a 419 scammer makes perfect sense, and should be somewhat worrying.
The thing about 419 scams, is that an ecosystem forms around the victims. Each is hit, in multiple ways, by multiple scammers. Endlessly.
A good 419 victim will inevitably be scammed for *years*. They're a guaranteed source of money.
Take note that the predominant victims of 419 scams are the elderly. Lower-middle-class, poorly educated baby boomers. Sound familiar?
Those elderly victims need only be identified once, for the whole scammer community to exploit them.
Note that as this demographic faces increased alienation, it becomes more readily exploited.
In large and small ways, trump's base will be endlessly exploited by those they've signalled as easy targets.
An important element of any good scam, is to make the victim contribute. Require them to perform an action, no matter how symbolic.
1 out of 100,000 may respond. That's the least symbolic action they can perform.
Out of those, maybe a quarter will fill out a form, call the scammer, etc. These are more valuable victims.
Once the victim gives even a single dollar, they are worth their weight in gold. They've absolutely proven they are obedient.
What trump did, was perform an obedience test on a massive scale.
All it takes is one scammer to build a list of sufficiently obedient victims, and each one becomes the base of an ecosystem.
The most successful 419 scammers never ask for money initially. They force the victim into deeper levels of commitment and collusion.
They ask the victim to perform a series of actions, from innocuous to implicating themselves. Each slowly ramping up the investment.
By the end of the hook, the victim is, to themselves, complicit in the scam. They think they are the ones scamming.
The most effective scams are those that either make victims feel like they're also scamming, or exploiting their altruism.
1. You draw the victim in from being charitable to feeling that lives are on the line.
At each stage, you ask the victim to perform a somewhat more morally questionable action. You draw them into the scam.
2. You expose them to suffering, in increasing amounts. Make them feel more morally obligated to relieve it, in each stage.
You draw the victim in from being charitable to feeling that lives are on the line.
One way or the other, you escalate the victim's entanglement. You draw them deeper into the scam, as deep as you can possibly go.
You warp the victim's reality as much as possible until they have not a doubt that they are in on the scam, or saving lives.
Every good 419 scammer is a gaslighter. You make the victim doubt their intentions, their own morality.
The more you draw in the victim, the more convinced they are of their efforts. They cannot be dissuaded.
*No victim of 419 scams who have lost more than $2,000, ever stops getting scammed.*
Each scammer sets the framework for the next scammer, makes it easier to pass that lowering obedience threshold to profitability.
Once you've drawn in the victim, made them prove obedience, extracted even a dime from them: you own them.
And more importantly, they know it. To them, they're heavily invested both monetarily and morally.
Once you've gotten the victim to invest themselves in your scam, you no longer need to use poor grammar to sieve them out.
In other words: future scammers already know they are obedient and profitable. They can be more eloquent and fluent.
The semiliteracy of that first scam, is unneeded after the victim passes the obedience tests.
Consider what this means for mike pence and such. The need for incoherent babble is over, it serves no more strategic purpose after the 8th.
Also: the obedience tests come in stages. You need to keep drawing the victim deeper, or you don't get paid.
The day after the election, trump's victims will have proven themselves obedient and profitable pretty much as much as possible, legally
What is the next stage of obedience testing, for someone who has been drawn that deeply into the scam?
A vote is pretty much the biggest test of obedience the victims can give, legally. What must they do next to pass the next obedience test?
The day after the election, trump's victims will still need to be drawn deeper into the scam, pass more obedience tests
Following the election, those obedience tests will have exhausted all the low-hanging fruits of complicitly
Expect to see violent extremism as a more frequent signal of obedience.
Every victim of a scam of over $10,000, ends up stealing and hurting other people.
It's important that this happens. What is a bigger investment than knowingly risking prison?
Following the election, the stakes become *higher*. Trump's victims will be demanded to prove obedience beyond the ballot.
Importantly: for the victim, each stage of proving their obedience strengthens their resolve, and *is a point of no return*
At each stage, the victim finds it more and more impossible to disentangle themselves without condemning themselves.
At each stage, the only possible direction to go is deeper into the scammer's web.
Obedient victims of 419 scams only stop being profitable when they die.
Consider how much effort is necessary, at each stage, of dissuading the victim. How many bits of information needed.
At first: "they misspelled Google. They used a hotmail address. They have a phone number in Ghana" etc
After the victim fills out the first form, this becomes insufficient evidence. More effort is needed.
The moment the victim sends their first dime, it is damn near impossible to convince them that they're being scammed.
Literally. People have vociferously defended their scammers *after the scammer is convicted.*
At each stage, the level of evidence sufficient to persuade the victim increases exponentially.
Consider what happens on the 9th. After proving that level of obedience, can *any* evidence convince trump's victims otherwise?
Once you've extracted sufficient profit and proof of obedience from a victim, they will defend you more than you could
At that point, drawn so deeply into the scam, they are in the closest you can get to being in a secular cult.
The victim has to become an accomplice if you want to keep making money off them. There is no endpoint.
There is no "oh the prediction about the end of the world was wrong, I'm a sucker" moment. That never happens.
By the time you've drawn the victim that deep, they can shrug off any evidence of a scam and feel righteous doing so.
