Note: This is a special Grand Jury that will only focus on 2020 election interference cases. Regular Grand Juries hear evidence for all kinds of criminal cases in the county. In both cases, they are made up of regular citizens called for jury duty. Their job is to decide if there is enough evidence to indict and go forward with a criminal case. Grand juries operate in secret so if they decide *not* to indict, the people being investigated don't have their reputations damaged. If they do go forward, the indictment and the case afterwards are public record.Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will wait until after the May 24 primaries to call in witnesses to testify about whether former President Donald Trump tried to illegally overturn election results in Georgia in 2020.
Selection of a special grand jury will begin on May 2, but the group won’t hear from witnesses until June 1, Willis said in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday.
Willis said the four-week gap would give jurors time to approve subpoenas for reluctant witnesses and for the district attorney’s office to deliver those documents into people’s hands. The veteran prosecutor also acknowledged that she’s waiting until after the primaries to avoid the perception that her actions are politically motivated, as her Republican critics allege.
More accurately, Truth Social will be the exclusive place to hear from the 45th president eventually. Trump told Fox News that he will start “Truthing” for real in the next week.
There is no way in hell he'd turn away from his fawning masses on Twitter. He'll be there as surely as the pope is Catholic.TFG claims he won't be back on twitter even if invited and still thinks Truth Social is going to work.
What, like, actual multi-party elections, like most of the world?
I could live with Trump getting 42% of the vote.
You mean, no electoral college, so every vote counts equally, and the loser accepts the outcome peaceably?

He's not. The fines will accumulate daily until he complies, and at some point they will attach his property to pay it. He still has buildings in New York City.So my big question is how is he going to get away with stiffing the court? Because that's probably what hes thinking his top priority is right now.
I want to own a A-10 'Warthog' Thunderbolt II, and I need to use it against my upstairs neighbor.
You can tell Trump has a huge brain. It's swelling every day.No one appears to be more surprised by Donald Trump’s endorsement of J.D. Vance for the Ohio Senate than the former president himself, who on Sunday appeared not to know the former Never-Trumper’s name. Speaking at a “Save America” rally in Nebraska in support of Charles Herbster, a Republican gubernatorial candidate accused of sexually assaulting eight women, Trump crowed to a crowd: “You know, we’ve endorsed Dr. Oz. We’ve endorsed—J.P., right? J.D. Mandel, and he’s doing great. They’re all doing good.”
