I want to read the report to see exactly what Mueller wrote about obstruction and his decision to leave as an open question whether Trump obstructed justice. I assume he explains this, and I hope he explicitly states that it is a question for Congressional oversight to decide (and not Barr and Rosenstein).
I also hope that the report has some statement along the lines of “Trump’s actions don’t rise to the level of an indictable offense due to lack of evidence, but they do raise reasonable questions about his adherence to US law, material conflicts of interest, and fitness for office”.
I googled the Starr report, and it looks like *Congress* decided to release it to the public within days. Starr wasn’t a SC, from what I can see (maybe?), so the rules might be different. A friend of a friend is a reporter in NY/DC, and they are saying that there is a lot of talk about how the report makes Trump look really bad. I am still hoping he looks bad in an orange jumpsuit and handcuffs, but I am not holding my breath.
