Gov. Gavin Newsom scored a small legal victory in his defamation case against Fox News and host Jesse Watters, as a Delaware judge ruled that his [$]787 million lawsuit can move forward.
“Looking forward to discovery,” the California governor responded Thursday in an X post.
Judge Sean P. Lugg found it “reasonably conceivable” that Fox intentionally pushed false claims about Newsom when accusing him of lying about a phone call with Donald Trump during protests in Los Angeles.

Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is hospitalized in critical but stable condition, his spokesperson said Sunday, days after the Republican hoarsely told his talk show audience that his voice was “a little under the weather.”
The spokesperson, Ted Goodman, didn't say what sent Giuliani, 81, to the hospital, how long he's been there or what his prognosis is.

Why did Spirit fail? Too many passengers hated flying it
Ben Shapiro's conservative media company, The Daily Wire, recently confirmed a round of reportedly extensive layoffs, with its Nashville headquarters bearing the brunt of them.
The right-wing media company divulged the news in an official statement shared on May 1, citing new investments in "formats, locations, and production models" as the reason for its "evolved" status in Nashville.
"Today, The Daily Wire made a difficult decision to restructure the organization, which included layoffs to a number of teams," a Daily Wire spokesperson told The Wrap. "The cuts were largely concentrated at our Nashville production office," the statement continued.
It's kind of weird because ever since the airline ended I've seen lots of weird like sentimental/mourning type statements and posts in some of my feeds, people saying they'll miss Spirit Airlines, all kinds of things like that. And it's like I'm visiting the Twilight Zone because I can't think of anything good I've ever heard from a passenger of this airline. Every time someone has talked about it, that I've heard over the years, it's always about how horrible the experience is, even above other airlines. How there is zero amenities, and they nickle-and-dime and restrict things even more than other airlines. I feel like half the stories about passengers themselves going crazy and abusing attendants or other passengers, come from budget airlines like Spirit."Uh .... sir .... it could be ...... I mean, just spitballing here .... maybe too many passengers hate flying our airline because it sucks so much in so many different ways?"
"PREPOSTEROUS!"
That might involve leaving mom's basement.... If you weirdos loved this airline so much you're willing to (pretend at least) collectively donate tens of millions of dollars to keep it going, why the heck weren't you buying tickets when it was running?
Hey, baby steps. That might involve leaving mom's basement.
First time I've seen someone send something like that over ACARS.. fear it won't be the last time in the next year or so.More like Spirit Halloween Airlines
