After nibbling on a oatmeal cookie for dessert (...), I started dreaming about trading it in for a slice of banana split bread. Some recipes use pecans, but I prefer almonds or regular old peanuts. For an extra wow factor, add Nutella and caramel sauce!

I am SO making this. I'm a huge fan of banana bread anyway but this, wow. Actually, I'm already dreaming up variations, like if strawberries are out of season, doing something like coconut. I'll take some pics and post them.
