You're doing toast wrong.
Of course, we all know that for a proper toast you put the lime in the coconut, raise the coconut, shout "Sluvvo!", the other guests respond with "Roflcopter!" then you drink them both together.

I assumed that was understood.

The recipe nobody asked for from Canada: chicken dishwasher dinner! Yummy, so grey and tender! How often do you get a snack treat out of your dishwasher, guys?

And for children we've got the blue kool aid, tasty smurf steak...
It's like this woman single-handedly erased Julia Child and Craig Claiborne from culinary history and substituted Grandma Clampett and Mr. Bean.

I guaran-damn-tee she makes "fun" dishes that include Jell-O and Cool Whip AND SERVES THEM TO ACTUAL LIVING PEOPLE ON PURPOSE.

But she doesn't toss the tips away. :hellokitty:
Good point. (So to speak.)

"Circumcised Hot Dog Jello with tips" then, or, if you're charging $42.95, "Saucisses circoncises avec des pointes en gelée."

Takes too much explanation in Chinese: 割包皮的热狗果冻(附带制作技巧)

I missed a big opportunity with the German, though: "Beschnittener Hotdog-Wackelpudding mit Tipps."

We would just call it Hotdog Sülze. Sülze is something Antony Bourdain quite liked during his visit in Berlin, but it is getting less and less popular.

You want me to forego something called Beschiittner Wackelpudding, which would be right at home in a Mel Brooks script, for something without any giggle words at all?

Did you mistake me for someone sane and mature?

And now for an innovation nobody asked for: chicken cooked in a flower pot. When it comes out of the oven after 2 hours it looks gray and like the saddest thing on earth.

And a summer salad made in ham.

She was so close to inventing a sort of home version of the tandoor. Had she cooked at about double the temperature and had a clay lid on it, it might actually have been .... well, not completely disgusting. Pre-browning the chicken would also have made it way better.

Come to think of it, I have a lidded German cooking pot called a Romertopf that's made of terra cotta and does an okay job on chicken, though these days I just sous vide then pan brown it. Pot roast is great in the Romertopf but you have to pre-brown the roast.

Am I the only one who thought of Marlon Brando when she "applied" the butter?

Römertopf is not around so long, it was created in 1967. But yes, many love it.

It makes quite nice chicken:

How the thing is made.
