I'm waiting eagerly to see how the US immigration and passport control cope this summer with fans from all over the world arriving and then travelling between the US, Mexico and Canada and back again, watching their teams.

Throw ICE into the mix in cities where teams from Central and South America are playing, and it's going to be ... interesting.

I predict there will be a big increase in nonstop flights from Central and South America to Canada unless the orange one declares the flights illegal due to US airspace or something.

David Rothkopf is 100% correct here. Trump is becoming more and more unhinged. What I don't understand is why so few are pointing it out. This article kind of lays all the behavior out there and damn, it's very scary. We are right on the verge of completely losing our democracy.

Meanwhile, in public ceremony after public ceremony, he is demonstrating an inability to speak coherently, an obsession with naming public facilities after himself and a desire to cover everything in the White House with gold. He is also falling apart physically.

This has all gone too far. A megalomaniacal imbecile, drunk with power, has seized the controls of the most powerful nation on earth and he is demonstrating daily that his sole intent is to abuse that power at the expense of the American people and the planet.

The opposition party needs to hit the brakes hard. No more money for ICE or for Trump’s other dangerous projects. No more approvals for Trump judges or appointees.

Investigate. Impeach. Block. Demonstrate that there will be consequences for those who are enabling this insanity. Not just words—actions. Patriotic Americans, our friends worldwide and anyone with a sense of decency or of the dangers currently afoot need to work together right now to create the legislative, diplomatic and legal straitjacket that is the only way to contain this madman until he is no longer a threat.

President Trump delivered yet another rambling, long-winded speech Wednesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, using the massive world stage to rail against windmills, complain for the umpteenth time about how the 2020 election was rigged, reaffirm his desire to seize Greenland from Denmark, and take credit for every good thing in the world.

The room was dead silent virtually the entire time.

I turned the TV on while my coffee was brewing. I changed the channel before the first cup was done. My eyes squinting and crossed at the horrible delivery.
