'Separated from reality': Trump said to be struggling to come to grips that he may lose

During an appearance on MSNBC's "Way Too Early," the New York Times' Peter Baker suggested Donald Trump is still having a great deal of difficulty coming to terms with the notion that he could lose in November to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Baker claims that the former president's recent actions demonstrate he is losing his grip.
With Lemire prompting him with, "It seems like he's already preparing for another big lie," Baker replied, "Yeah, he seemed increasingly separated from reality and there may be strategy behind it. The idea that is he's once again trying to convince his voters that something untoward happened in order to explain a defeat and that's something, of course, he cannot accept."
Tell us something we didn't know! It probably won't happen, but this only makes me wish for a decisive landslide more than ever before.

Oh oh. Could Florida be in play? I doubt it, but...hope!

Possible. It is getting close, and turnout will be important. The abortion measure will motivate a lot of people to go to the polls. If that is the case, and it appears Kennedy is eating into Trump by about 3-4% then Florida is in play.

i just noticed something interesting on this forum. There are 240,960 messages in total, and 115,000 of them are in the topic "Politics, Religion and Society", almost half.

So what does this mean ? Sure we're in an election year again, but still, this trend is since 2022.

Clearly intelligent topics about SL or other 3d worlds are dead here. Make it simple and just rebrand the whole forum : "Political War" or something like that.

I bet many people already left this forum because they're tired of reading this. I'm surprised the forum owners let this go on.

You know SL had the same problem in 2020, and they BANNED all political activism then, because they understood it's bad for business : political opinions always make 50% of people angry who then don't bother to respond and just leave.

By the way not only SL banns political themes, all multiplayer games do that.

If people of the right would have a big population here, people of the left would be mostly missing. These points of views rarely coexist for long in forums.

Aside that: it's not your problem to wrap your head around that, also not to worry about how Cristiano manages to run the show here.

Since you are such an experienced dev, having written your own Safe-C and what not, you for sure also have the abilities to launch your own little playground of your dreams and then make all the things right there which you might consider here wrong.

well i can make a prediction for the future : sure traffic on this forum will peak til end 2024, but then 2025 you will all be surprised that it's TOTALLY QUIET on this forum, because elections will be over, but interesting people chatting about 3D worlds will have left. That's how you kill a forum.
