Waiting to be underwhelmed here somehow.
Trial proceedings can take years, and there will be several of them so it'll be hard for the Republicans to "Move on". The constant drumbeat will NOT work in the Republicans favor and there are still two years of the Dems holding both the presidency and one house of congress. Two years of this will devastate the G.O.P. This means they will need to make some kind of high-handed questionably constitutional moves to stop or smother the proceedings, hoping to "run out the clock" until the next general election.
They will have to, because Trump will pull them down along with himself if he goes down. They know how petty and mean spirited he is.
My personal opinion is they will try to reframe the trials and hearings to create the perception that it is "time to move on", "no one is really interested in them anymore", "we have more important things to focus on". They will paper the dems as beating a dead horse and as obstructionists blocking important legislation from passing - such as farm bills, military spending bills, & budget resolutions. They will hijack and stonewall everything possible that meets the criteria of being important but of no interest to the general public to blackmail the dems into stopping the
persecution prosecution of Trump.
