They are in a perfect Catch-22... "serious" businesses are expected to be PG, but all the money is in porn, and they have got to know that... lol.Considering they have announced enforced physical distancing already, its going to be pretty PG in that respect..... so yeah.
Well, the reason given was there have already been harassment claims. They are in a perfect Catch-22... "serious" businesses are expected to be PG, but all the money is in porn, and they have got to know that... lol.
Yeah... and Meta has heavy expectations on them to be "family friendly" across all their aps... I don't think they have any chance of stealing adult users in SL to go to the PG metaverse, lol. ...hopefully they give SL more publicity by accident though...Well, the reason given was there have already been harassment claims.
But it's optional, right?!Considering they have announced enforced physical distancing already, its going to be pretty PG in that respect..... so yeah.
oh wait... I guess not:The new feature is being turned on by default in the Horizon Worlds creation platform and the Horizon Venues live event service.
at least not for a while, if ever:Meta spokesperson Kristina Milian confirmed that users can’t choose to disable their personal boundaries since the system is intended to establish standard norms for how people interact in VR.
(from Meta is adding a ‘personal boundary’ to VR avatars to stop harassment)However, future changes could let people customize the size of the radius.
I do not remember that, no.Remember when we used to jump onto every new platform to secure our user name and experience teh novelties. Those were good olde days. They've gone by.
I do, then I stopped caring, then someone who owned a grid created an account on it with my name to say I'm an asshole, so I went back to doing that again, then I came out as trans and changed my name and realized so much time has passed that if someone "stole" that name now most people who saw it would simply be like "han who?" and am back to not caring again periodRemember when we used to jump onto every new platform to secure our user name and experience teh novelties. It started with email addresses and instant messaging and chat rooms...Remember when we used to jump onto every new platform to secure our user name and experience teh novelties. Those were good olde days. They've gone by.

Shows how stupid they are.... Just about any name with "wolf" in it will attract some duplication....For over a decade I was the only WolfEyes on the net. Now people from all over the world are trying to be me. I've been attacked for shit other people did many times.![]()

Can confirm, or a name with "blood" for that matter...though maybe less, now that vampires aren't as popular.Shows how stupid they are.... Just about any name with "wolf" in it will attract some duplication....
Oh heck yeah. I never tried any of the isometric-type VWs like Habbo or whatever; but...There, Blue Mars, IMVU, Active Worlds, Sine, any number of other places I'd explore and think like, "too bad this isn't as good as Second Life", maybe not 100% fairly. They were churning them out like crazy at one point. I wonder how many of them are still around.Remember when we used to jump onto every new platform to secure our user name and experience teh novelties. Those were good olde days. They've gone by.
