The OP is pointing out that the common thinking that Windows and Edge are somehow worse than competitors is not borne out by evidence - quite the opposite.

If that was true why has Microsoft had to replace Edge with Chrome in a Microsoft-themed skin, and give people better UNIX support with every new release and patchset?
