Even if you’ve reached your limit, you’ve unbuckled your pants, and you‘re so full you think you’ll pop, what food are you simply not able to resist?
I’m not that into dessert, but if someone brings out some baclava, I just can’t refuse.
I've spent my whole life looking for my "I've already eaten, but I will also eat this", well, more for my comfort food. Which I imagine would also fall into that "I'm full, but I'll also eat this" category. Never found it.
There was one brief shinning moment in time when I thought I'd found it. Honey roasted cashews. Came to them relatively late, loved them, seemingly three minutes later I learned I had a particular intestinal issue (not an allergy, something else) that meant I could no longer eat them. Or nuts, or popcorn, or corn on the cob, or seaseme seeds or strawberries, or, basically, anything with tiny hard things. And, so, gone was my breath shinning moment of "I've finally found it!" It's relativey healthy, compared to other snacks ("
a reasonably nutritious snack. With protein, fiber, and heart-healthy fats, honey roasted cashews are healthy"), tasty, etc. etc. But I can't eat them.
At the moment, a thing that I found a couple of weeks ago, I've been munching on edible cookie dough in those "I just ate; oh! I have this, let's also eat this" moments. Edible cookie dough, by the way, is actually a different product than cookie dough, though they look similar. Edible cookie dough is made without eggs or other leavening agents, so if you actually did try to bake yourself some cookies with the dough, it'd liquify and burn, not create cookies.
Oh. Then not edible cookie dough. The other day I baked myself a meal, brought my edible cookie dough along as an after dinner treat and . . . didn't eat any of it. Not even sure I was full, I just could resist the edible cookie dough.
Guess I'm back to "nothing".
