To me, I think Premium has all the perks to attract a new and existing clientele - especially with the recent upgrade in land tier.

However, I personally would only be attracted to premium if I were more active in-world! (y)

For years now I've been saying LL should revisit their abandoned "Interest Tags" idea. Allow users to assign a limited number of interest tags to marketplace listings, locations, groups, events, etc. Limiting the number of interest tags would prevent people from making them useless by throwing every tag under the sun at their content/events, which is what currently happens with search listings for just about anything in SL.

LL should do this and limit people to 3 interest tags applied to content, locations and events. But if you're premium, maybe give you two more so you can apply 5 tags. It's a little thing, but could be useful to content creators and sim owners, making Premium membership more valuable to them.

Land in Second Life is virtual, not real. It's 1's and 0's.
Then why are the Linden Homes so crowded together? I really don't want to look out my window and see my neighbor's piano. They try to landscape it like it was suburbia, but it's really more like low-income housing confined to one or two stories. A bit of space between the houses would make them more desirable, IMHO.

I'm onboard for free uploads. I've spent over $L2,000 uploading some sails (that's lots of corrections and added details for something that is loaded by scripts, so is immune to the nifty "temp" procedure).

Because Linden Lab has the design sense of a half blind software engineer barely capable of dressing themselves presentably. Linden Lab did not landscape the Linden Homes sims, they created a program to procedurally generate the landscaping for them. I'm not even making that up. They were very proud of the achievement.

A lot of SL's problems stem from this dismissive attitude they have towards design. But that's a rant for another thread.

Most of SL's problems stem from the dismissive attitude they have towards people, including each other; but that's a rant for another forum in a galaxy far far away.

I'd go premium for getting rid of all legacy content, optimizing all LoDs of every single object in SL, getting rid of onionskin avatars, fixing invisible objects being harder to render than visible ones, forcing serverside jellydolling (including yourself) and forcing everyone to follow harsh optimization rules punishable by death ban.

Alternatively: See Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and all these creators getting burned on a witch hunt, livestreamed across the entirety of SL, onto the login screen, into the loading screen, on twitch and everywhere, visible to anyone.

I already did, and the perk that did it for me was increasing the land allowance to 1024m. Combined that with the 1024 from my alt who was already premium for the grandfathered stipend, and picked up a nice 2048m parcel for about 4k. Bargain!

The bottom line for premium is that you have to pay money every month. I cannot imagine any incentive that would persuade me to accept a recurring payment in my life. I get everything I want from Second Life without that.

If you pay annually, you get back most of it in your weekly stipend so it effectively costs next to nothing. If you've an old account with the L$500/week stipend, and you're in the US (or anywhere else where you don't pay VAT) you get MORE L$ back than you spend. Paying monthly is not such a good deal though, neither is owning more land than 1024m per avatar.

No fees when cashing out would be amazing but I don't think that would ever happen. Personally, I'm already premium (as well as some of my alts) and I do it mainly for the higher group counts. I would like to have an even higher group limit. I would also like to see a report of what happened after submitting abuse reports. I would love to get an email saying "Your Abuse report from [DATE] [TIME] has been dealt with details below" Along with details of who I AR'ed (including the object if there was one) where it is, and what action was taken that way I would know my AR's are actually being ignored dealt with instead of just thinking they are.

I would also LOVE to see 2FA available for premium members. I'm actually surprised SL doesn't already have 2FA.

The ability to buy homesteads without owning a full private region (set the bar at 1 full mainland region? Even 2 mainland regions before you can buy a homestead would be good)

I don't create much but I know people that do and I would also like to see a set number of free uploads each month to inspire creativity. I Would probably upload a few meshes each month to continue working on old projects rather than just writing scripts and using regular prims all the time.

Almost put me to sleep like when I take allergy meds.. but anyway... short answer is .. Barely anyone does it, so they dinna spend the $$$ to automate it.
I don't think many people do it because not many people know it's possible. Even after I asked about it I was told it's not possible only to have someone else then take over the ticket and say yes it can be done so at that point I lost confidence in it and decided not to even bother trying.

I went premium around the time they first introduced Linden Homes so I could have a place I could set as Home that wouldn't be infested by new users or griefers/trolls. When I signed up I ended up with a L$400 a week stipend.

I often let that accumulate slightly so I can have a bit extra in a given month to use should I wish to go out and buy something.

I do not ascribe to the opinion that the stipend, tier allotment or similar are somehow an offset to the cost of being Premium and have rather vehemently rebutted those that treat such as a given.

Thus far the only addition to being Premium I could think of has already been added in - increasing the Group limit.

A built-in open-sourced translator (like IOS's Q-Translator but built-in instead of a hud) would be nice to have in a Premium Only Viewer.
Better Build Tools.
An easy version of Blender or something, built-in for using in-world.
Things that make it easier to own land whose price hasn't been inflated, just because they can.
Built-in simple DJ capability.

I'd like a perk that gave me an instanced 'sim' that I could open up to folks or not, and have an actually private home, if I wanted. But I am already premium, because 500$ L a week is a nice little buffer to make sure I can pay rent on my shop and club.

I have two premium accounts. One at the 500 L stipend level so basically LL is paying me to have my account (every once in awhile I just donate a few thou somewhere, it is not like I need more stuff all the time). Basically the decision is "mainland or not mainland". I wish they would realize this and allow you to swap your mainland tier for something else worth just as much, like rent of the same value paid to someone.
Correction: it should be 1 premium now. I was waiting for my newer account to drop off of premium last month (LL does not do the prorated thing) and no email from ll charging that account for another year. With the tier going from 512 to 1024 it wiped out the reason for that second account being premium.

I’m already premium $L300/wk level but additionally I’d like to have a monthly asset upload credit allowance.

I’d also, on reflection, like a (fancy member’s only) pony too or a really great special car,

an annual birth rezday gift:birthdayballoons::birthday:...and...

Seasonal swanky parties, costume/fancy dress, themed, black tie....with performers, a custom venue, a dinner, art display, photographers hired for the occasion...something to show off good things in SL, stimulate the fashion economy and give a red carpet experience opportunity each season. Met Gala, Academy Awards level. With afterparties. At Angel Manor. And yes, I’d volunteer to work for this.
